I started creating more than 20 years ago during NaNoWriMo, full of stories that demanded to be told. Then life happened, and the creative work stopped for about 15 years.

Recently, I started dreaming again - vivid, unsettling dreams that wouldn't let go until I wrote them down. That pull to capture what happens in the darker hours brought me back to creating. I picked up my camera again, started painting, and returned to writing.

My photography explores the spaces between - twilight, frost, empty landscapes, moments of transition. And the writing... some pieces are those dreams, transcribed as faithfully as I could manage. Others are stories I've imagined, inspired by that same liminal logic where nothing quite makes sense but everything feels true.

I've also polished a few older writings from those early days and included them here. They're rougher, perhaps, but they deserved to exist beyond forgotten hard drives and abandoned notebooks.

In the spirit of NaNoWriMo, I'm returning 2025 to a fantasy story I started almost 20 years ago and abandoned after a few chapters. It's now 300 pages of draft. Maybe I'll finish it this time. Maybe I'll post pieces of it here. Maybe I'll keep adding the odd dreams and stories as they come.

This is where my creative work lives - the photography, the words. All from the darker hours, all exploring what exists between light and shadow.
